Day 9, Timika – Bali
Leaving Timika to Bali in the morning time at around 09.30, arrived mid day, check in hotel and here I am again lay on the beach… met some friends from Jakarta who had Coals exhibition, dinner with them then back to hotel for a very well sleep ( of course!!!.. never had enough sleep in Papua, average only around 1-5 hours every nights varies). Day 2 in Bali, pick up Karen and her 2 children at the airport (2nd parents of Jona), 3 of them stay in Hard Rock Kuta, then back to “Leyeh leyeh” on the beach.. had massage, manicure and pedicure.. Watch local concert on the beach, nice reggae, some R&B and metalica… then a quick shower for dinner with Karen, Alex and Chloe at Jimbaran, then back to Hotel, met my Cemara friend Keke and her scuba diving friend, we chat till late then back to Hotel again.. nice sleep.. Day 3, after breakfast then shopping, buy a lil present for my cousin and Jona, then to the beach again… find IBU Ketut my regular lady massager, and massage again… not really a good sunset, but it was ok, back to hotel and get ready for hard rock café with Karen and kids, we dance and enjoy the music till 01.30, hmm no alcohol for missionary.. hehe’.. just soft drinks as I don’t drink too…
Day 4, had a meeting with Warisan guy just a few hours then accomplishing my shopping again, then to the beach again, then packing get ready to go back home, fight GA880 at 21.50… Great trip almost 2 weeks away from home.. Lucky me…
