Day 2, still in Sentani and Jayapura
We went to Jona’s school and his boarding house in Sentani and go to the church for a protestant mass, visit the 2nd parents of Jona (Rolland and Karen and their 4 children, a missionary Family in MAF (Missionary Aviation Fellowship) Rolland is a head mechanic for MAF as Jona want to be a pilot after his graduation he will take a Pilot school in Malacca. A long the way from Jayapura to Sentani, takes 1 hour drive, I took a lot of pictures for this beautiful nature Panorama.
In the afternoon, we had lunch with all parents from his school, teachers, priest and all students from Hillcrest International School. Right before the lunch time, Jona and Rolland take me to the Hangar to see the SIL new aircraft and all the aircrafts. After Lunch we go to Rolland’s house, just next door from the lunch Place.
Jonathan take us to Doyo BARU and DOYO Lama, as Jonathan show all his place he used to go around… after this showing place, I just realized and understand how is a person like Jona he is only 19 years old now can stay in Sentani for 4 years since he was 15 years old, it is because of the nature green and blue surround him.. a Fantastic Place to live…
